    1. Blue Screen Shooting

The first half of the TVC features a daytime scene with an outdoor green landscape and red arched bridge as the backdrop, starring SK-II brand ambassador actress Qiu Tian alongside the little fox.

In reality, this segment was achieved through a combination of miniature set construction and blue screen compositing in the studio.

To minimize color spill and ensure flawless chroma key compositing, the production team opted for blue screen technology - which demands significantly more rigorous lighting control compared to green screen alternatives. The critical requirements include:

(1). Perfectly uniform illumination without shadows or hotspots

(2). Strict color temperature consistency to prevent regional chromatic variance

(3). Optimized soft light sources for smooth gradient-free backing

The Caster Cinema-Series Flat Panel Lights deliver ideal blue screen illumination through:
    • Custom-engineered RGBW LEDs with TLCI ≥98 color accuracy
    • Oversized 1290×315mm emission surface for complete coverage
    • Integrated hybrid diffusion system combining microlens and frosted panels

A large overhead "moon box" was rigged on set, housing nearly 30 Caster C04P units. Additionally, a perimeter of Caster C02P panels surrounded the structure. With dual diffusion (soft light panels + scrims), the setup completely eliminated harsh shadows and highlights.

Under this high-CRI, perfectly diffused lighting, the actors' makeup appeared flawlessly natural, with skin tones looking luminous, vibrant, and full of vitality—truly stellar results!

    2. Nighttime Water Scene Shoot

The artificial lake setting during the night scenes created a fantastic atmosphere, but it also introduced significant filming challenges.

The controlled use of water reflections enhanced the visual composition, while excessive reflections would compromise environmental details. To achieve perfect balance, the cinematography team deployed:

(1). Array of Caster Flat Panel Lights - Strategically positioned soft sources eliminated harsh glare while maintaining gentle, well-defined water textures.

(2). Multi-layer Diffusion Systems - Black scrims and silk fabrics blocked stray light, preserving image clarity.

(3). Precision Light Angling - Prevented direct light spill onto water surfaces to avoid highlight clipping.

    3. Caster Panels: The Indispensable Choice for TVC Production

It's no surprise that Caster series flat panels have become virtually indispensable in TVC shoots – their on-set presence is nothing short of ubiquitous.

Since TVC are usually short, producers need to quickly catch the audience's attention with creativity or appearance in a short period of time. The most basic requirement for the characters or objects being photographed is that they are clear and bright enough without shadows, so the light is generally created into a large soft light effect.

The Caster series panel lights provide uniform, soft and controllable lighting effects, playing a key role in achieving high-quality TVC visual effects.
